Each afternoon at 3.30pm in the Memorial Park at The Entrance, pelicans gather at the water’s edge waiting to be fed. This is a wonderful sight and gives you a great chance to get up close and personal with these wild creatures. A great photo opportunity! The Entrance is renowned for its fresh local prawns. Visitors and locals alike can be found scooping up their catch from the waters at night. It is also a popular area for fishing. If you feel like some retail therapy, Westfield Shopping Centre at Tuggerah is just 15 minutes away. Greater Union Cinemas are also in Westfield. A 20-25 minute drive will have you at the vast Erina Fair Shopping Centre that also boasts an Ice Skating Arena and a Hoyts Theatre complex. Close by, you will find Stockland Bay Village Shopping Centre, a short 5 minute drive from the retreat.
